Bimanual IOL Rescue
- Video
- Published 2013
This video describes a technique for 3-piece intraocular lens (IOL) rescue using a chandelier light source and can be done with any of the IOL scleral fixation techniques that have been previously described. This technique allows for easier externalization of the haptics and eliminates any anterior segment manipulation. Furthermore, if using the transconjunctival approach, stabilization of the lens can be achieved by using an “upstream Scharioth tunnel.”
