This is the case of a 65-year-old white woman with a long history of retinitis pigmentosa (RP) with best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) 20/60 in both eyes. After suffering a fall, she reported sudden vision loss in her left eye and presented with ocular pathologies: RP Full-thickness macular hole (FTMH) Somewhat chronic-appearing epiretinal membrane Macular-involving retinal detachment Despite restoring normal anatomy with a single surgery, visual gains to date have been modest.
