Diabetic Tractional Retinal Detachment Repair and ILM Peel

A 56-year-old, long-standing diabetic presented with count fingers vision and a tractional retinal detachment to the right eye. This video demonstrates a technique for repairing the detachment and also peeling of the internal limiting membrane to prevent future epimacular membrane proliferation. The patient had a successful outcome with her vision improving to 20/40 a month after the surgery.
